The Program

Stemtac Academy Scholars and their families, through their automatic registration in the connected liberated village scholars portal, gain access to additional offerings including community events, interactive presentations and workshops, scholarship opportunities, and more! Stemtac Academy aims to positively impact BIPOC students, families, and communities by offering culturally responsive STEM programming and creating a collaborative space to learn about resources together as a community.

Mission

Empower BIPOC youth in King County by dismantling racism in STEM and fostering community building. In collaboration with Stemtac Academy Scholars, we bring together residents, subject matter experts (SMEs), and various stakeholders to create a collaborative space for communication and cooperation between organizations and community members, ensuring equitable access to high-quality STEM career and educational opportunities.

Vision

Forge a close-knit community with Stemtac Academy Scholars dedicated to the liberation of Black and Brown Scholars in King County.
